Do you love the brilliance and translucence of water media? If you want to learn to paint with watercolor but has no idea where to begin, then this workshop is perfect for you. We will explore the very basics of painting with watercolor paints. You will learn watercolor painting skills through experimentation and demonstration. The workshop will help you understand working with color, mixing and layering. The practice will give you a deeper understanding. Class is given via Zoom. You must have a computer/tablet/phone with audio and video capability. Materials needed: watercolors, watercolor paper (cold pressed 140lb weight preferred) brushes, two containers of water, a pencil, a ruler, paper towels.
