Description

Caregiving can take a toll on caregivers’ physical and mental health. This is especially true for caregivers to persons living with dementia, or managing complex conditions. Caregiver health can be affected through stress processes (e.g., changes in cortisol patterns), but also through behaviors such as skipping medical appointments and loss of sleep. Please join us to learn more about how caregiving for a loved one can affect health. We will also discuss strategies to help family caregivers to stay healthy while providing care.
