Description
This lecture combines the social and cultural concepts from anthropology with the biological and genetic concepts from molecular biology. How do social and cultural transformations affect biological and genetic changes in the human condition? How do these cultural and social changes affect our brains and bodies? How does increasing social complexity from growing populations affect us as a species? What are the rates of change due to these changes? In this study we seek to answer these questions by synthesizing concepts from geology, paleoanthropology, anthropology, and genetics.
