The Chaifetz Arena, considered one of the top venues in college basketball, is the home of Saint Louis University men’s and women’s basketball. It accommodates a wide range of events including SLU’s commencement and convocation ceremonies, concerts and other performing arts and community events. John C. Guenther, FAIA, LEED AP, was the design architect for the Chaifetz Arena when he was a Partner and Principal (1979-1982, 1984-2009) with Mackey Mitchell Architects, Architect of Record. Sink Combs Dethlefs was the Arena Design Consultant.
