Remembering the 500TH Anniversary of the conquest of Tenochtitlan by the Spanish and their allies in 2021. We will also look at the impact of conquest and the rhetoric used by contemporaries in vilifying Mexicans and other Latino immigrants. We will challenge these misconceptions from the past to understand our present.
