Description

We will discuss an event which history somehow overlooked: the attempt by a brave band of soldiers and civilians to overthrow Nazi rule in Munich, Germany, with the intention of handing the city over to the approaching Allied armies. This account is based largely on first-hand information provided by German Captain Rupprecht Gerngross, which details not only the planning and execution of the 1945 revolt, but also the anti-Nazi student underground, the White Rose.
