Description

On that day General James Wilkenson, labeled by one biographer as “An Artist in Treason”, confronts Aaron Burr, whom he has accused of treason, in the Federal courtroom of Chief Justice John Marshall in Richmond, Virginia. Despite Wilkenson’s checkered past, he had risen to command of the U. S. Army. Burr, Vice President from 1801 to 1805, despite his killing of Alexander Hamilton in a duel on July 11, 1804, had pursued adventures in the west that still defy explanation.  Once allies, now enemies, these two men confront each other in court.  Drama ensues!
