Description

The latest Supreme Court term was unique due to the pandemic but also held a few surprises with both its rulings and the make-up of majorities in several cases. Cases include issues ranging from free speech, freedom of religion, and transgender rights to NCAA rules. As always there are interesting but less publicized cases as well, this term dealing with such issues as Presidential authority, unions and property rights, and search and seizure rules. We will review some select cases, look at how the members of the Court acted during this unusual session, examine some trends and take a look at what is coming in the new term this fall.
