Description

At a time when more women were trained as artists, opportunities for making and selling art increased. Women exhibited with the Impressionists, had a separate building at the 1893 Worlds Columbian Exposition and formed part of collectives like the Omega Workshops in England. Nevertheless the work of women was often received differently. The three-session class will look at works by women in France, England and America in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Register for this class if you will only be viewing via Zoom. You must have a computer/tablet/phone with audio and video capability.
