The original American September 11th. This amost forgotten battle saw the largest deployment of American troops during the Revolutionary War. This site is still in the same condition today as it was over 200 years ago. It’s a study in the struggle the American Army had to overcome to defeat the British Empire and the first battle to fly the US flag. It led directly to the miserable winter of Valley Forge and the “times that tried men’s souls.”
