This course will focus on the first 13 principles and practices of the Nia technique. In just one hour, you will stimulate your entire body, moving to increase cardiovascular health, balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, and stability. We move to soul-stirring music guided by the sensations of comfort and pleasure to heal and condition body, mind, emotion, and spirit. Nia is adaptable to all bodies and fitness levels. Nia is movement medicine. You will learn body awareness, how to move in self-healing ways, and have fun, all at once.
