King of the Britons and central figure of the Arthurian legends comes to life in Geoffrey’s of Monmouth’s Historia Regum Britanniae. Long considered to be nothing but a story, Arthur’s name appears in several lists for the 7th to the 10th Century… lists which only include known historical figures. Why would respected historians include a fictional character in their historical works… unless, of course, he wasn’t as fictional as we think he is. Class is given via Zoom.
