Description
This fun and informative course will examine the role of Warner Brothers Studio as the hub of social conscience films of the 1930s. The gangster film was a particular specialty that flourished with the talents of stars Edward G. Robinson, James Cagney, and Humphrey Bogart. We will spend one class on subject overview and one class each on the individual stars and their gangster roles.
