Description

Oceans cover 70% of our planet, regulate climate temperatures, and support life on Earth. When our oceans change, life on Earth can experience subtle to dramatic shifts in living conditions. Ice ages, tropical phases, and everything in-between is connected to ocean currents. Melting glacier water flows into oceans and melting icecaps on mountains seep underground into giant aquifers providing water reservoirs for farms and drinking water from wells. Current farming practices and other factors directly impact our food production. This lecture explores the state of the intricate water systems in the USA and around the world.
