In this workshop we will explore the beauty of landscapes using a loose impressionistic and even whimsical style. We will use the strength of watercolor to create translucent but dynamic layers to enhance the study of trees and other landscape elements. From backgrounds to details, we will explore the dynamic landscape. Photos that inspire you will be helpful. We will explore the techniques for composition and then allow the water and pigment to work the magic! Class is given via Zoom. You must have a computer/tablet/phone with audio and video capability. Materials needed: reference photos, watercolor paints, a variety of brushes, water, paper towels, watercolor paper, a #2 pencil, and painter’s tape.
