Description
Mongolia is a small, but very beautiful country in Asia, bordered by both China and Russia, both of which have made incursions into Mongolia. We will explore one of the oldest monasteries, learn the meaning of the word “ger,” and visit the monument to Genghis Khan, who through conquest, established the largest empire the world has ever known. We will be privileged to go inside the ger, or home, of a nomadic family and learn about their way of life.
