But what if the government of one country sets out to rob all the banks of an entire continent—and commit thousands of other crimes as well? Before WWII, they sent you to Elba. But German and Japanese leaders raised the stakes so high, exile would not be a fitting punishment. The only trouble is, how to you punish people who technically didn’t break the laws in their country—and for things you did yourself?

Learn & practice easy movements to improve balance and reduce risk of falling. Emphasis is on posture, balance, muscle relaxation & breathing. Staying physically active is critical to slowing the aging process and staying healthy. However, while cardio training offers incredible benefits, it is not the only form of exercise you need to engage in as you get older. The loss of muscle tissue due to aging can affect older adults’ ability to perform many routine activities and lead an independent lifestyle. Fortunately, regular strength training — also called resistance training and weightlifting — can help prevent or reverse muscle loss. When strength training, you use your own body weight or various tools, such as home made weights and resistance bands, for resistance to build muscle, strength, and endurance.  The class includes Stretching and inquiry at the end. Strength training can help:
    • Maintain muscle tissue and strength
    • Contribute to better balance and coordination, and reduce the risk of falls
    • Preserve bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis
    • Improve sleep and reduce depression
    • Help with fat loss

Having observed France's struggle to maintain democracy following the upheavals of the French Revolution and Napoleon, Tocqueville was profoundly struck by the vibrancy of American democracy. We will take a look at the Third Army, its commander, and its notable campaigns from the breakout from Normandy until it crossed Germany and entered Czechoslovakia. Along the way, we’ll discuss some vignettes about a few of the people in the Third Army. The Third Army was in combat only from August 1944 until May 1945 (that is, 281 days); but its contribution to the victory of the Western Allies was spectacular.

To begin a meditation practice, one needs only a few moments, a quiet place to be, and one’s breath. Learning to meditate is as easy as learning to focus on breathing. Gradually it can become an easy and natural process to allow the mind to let go of the stress and focus of the daily routine and move into an inner sense of peace and calmness. When our mind is peaceful, we are free from worries and mental discomfort, and experience true happiness. If we train our mind to become peaceful, we shall be happy even in adverse conditions, but if our mind is not at peace, then even in the most pleasant conditions we are unable to feel happy. So it is important to train our minds, through techniques such as simple meditation, to be aware of the joys and true happiness that is our birthright.
